SLA, tasking, reporting

Nexus combines task management, monitoring, verification, and reporting in one real-time workflow for clearer visibility and operational control.

The Reality On The Ground

Your SLA is a contract. Right now it is defended with screenshots.

An FM company running several buildings for several clients is judged on response and rectification times it often cannot measure in real time. Technicians work from WhatsApp groups, job sheets are photographed and filed, and the SLA report is assembled the week before the client meeting. Nexus makes the SLA clock start when the job is logged, not when someone remembers to write it down — so the monthly review is a report you print, not a case you build.

SLA breaches are discovered too late

By the time a breach shows up in the monthly report, the penalty is already incurred. Nothing warns the supervisor while the clock is still running and the job could still be saved.

Technicians are coordinated on WhatsApp

Jobs get assigned in group chats where they scroll away, get missed on a day off, or get picked up by two people. There is no queue, only a conversation.

Proof of work lives on personal phones

Before-and-after photos sit in technicians’ camera rolls. When a client disputes a job, retrieving the evidence depends on whether that technician still works for you.

Every client wants a different report

Each contract has its own format and KPI set, so month-end becomes days of manual assembly across buildings that all store their data differently.

How It Works

How a work order moves through Nexus

One workflow across every building and every client contract, with the SLA clock running from the first entry.

1

Log the job against the right site

NEXTASK →

Reactive and planned work orders are raised against a specific building, asset and client contract, so a job is never ambiguous about which SLA it falls under.

2

Confirm attendance on site

NEXSTAFF →

GPS check-in and selfie verification confirm the technician was physically at the building. Multi-site supervisors stop driving between properties to verify coverage.

3

Capture proof and rectification cost

NEXCLAIM →

Completion photos and any claimable work are submitted from the field and approved in the system, so evidence is attached to the job rather than stored on a phone.

4

Produce the client SLA pack

NEXREPORT →

Response times, completion rates and outstanding jobs per building are generated from the same data the technicians entered. Different clients get different cuts of one dataset.

FAQ

Common Questions — Facilities Management

Straight answers about running Nexus in this industry.

Is Nexus suitable for an FM company managing multiple client buildings?

Yes — that is the core case it is built for. Sites, assets and work orders are separated by building and by client contract, so one company can run many contracts without mixing data or reporting.

Can we track SLA response and rectification times?

Yes. Because the work order is timestamped from the moment it is logged and again at each status change, response and rectification times are calculated from actual activity rather than reconstructed at month-end.

What happens to jobs raised outside working hours?

They are logged into the same queue and carry the same timestamps. Nothing depends on someone being awake in a WhatsApp group, and nothing is lost because a message scrolled past overnight.

Can technicians use it without much training?

The field-side workflow is deliberately narrow: check in, see assigned jobs, complete with photos. Most of the complexity sits with supervisors and management rather than the person holding the spanner.
